Tau Golden Mane

“When I will be in Johannesburg again I will again choose this guesthouse for accomodation.”

I stayed in one of the rooms in the backyard of the guest house, which felt very secure. The guest house sits in the north part of the city center, in a safe neighbourhood, and the city centre is easy to reach by Uber or Bolt. I could park my car in a secure area. The room was roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The owners also run a catering service, so I had both breakfast and dinner at the accommodation, and the food was really good.

Everything about them was great: they treated us well, knew how to talk to customers, and offered useful advice. The only suggestion is that they could add cereal and fruit salad to their breakfast, but their breakfast was number one.

Helen, Gabriel and Christine were exceptionally humble and treated guests with the highest respect and integrity. I would definitely recommend Tau.

I liked how amazing the staff and hosts were. I didn’t like that there were electricity issues, although it could not be helped and it is not the host or staff’s fault.
