The host was warm and the location in the old town is great, yet the nearby cafés create unavoidable noise; the host tried to muffle it by sealing windows and even left earplugs, but that’s just the cost of staying in the event center’s heart.

The apartment was clean and the location was great, with a superb bakery across the street and an ice‑cream parlor nearby. However, there was loud thumping from a nightclub from 10 pm to 4 am on the last Saturday of our stay, and the ear plugs provided barely helped. Also, it would be nice if they offered English breakfast tea bags and instant coffee.

The place was spotless, the mattress was perfect, and the cosmetics were flawless.

The room was modern and well equipped inside a historic, multi‑century building. The riverside promenade is very pleasant, and the city center is easily reachable on foot. At night the area gets fairly noisy because of the nightlife. The window seals well, but that makes ventilation impossible.
