“朝食はつけてよかった”
The Chinese dishes at breakfast were tasty, though it was a shame the glasses were made of plastic. The reception staff, mostly men, weren’t very friendly or helpful.

The interior of the building and the rooms felt upscale, letting me relax comfortably; despite being a compact corner room, the layout made good use of the space so it never felt cramped. Being about a five‑minute walk from Hakata Station and surrounded by many convenience stores and eateries made the location very convenient. The entrance lacked a lobby, so when I arrived early there was nowhere to wait for check‑in, which was a problem – perhaps the bar lounge is meant for that purpose.

The breakfast, however, fell short of expectations – it lacked cohesion, offered few items for the price, and didn’t convey any sense of Hakata at all, which was quite disappointing.
The room was spotless and the bathroom, with its glass door, was completely separate and easy to use; the breakfast buffet was generous and even let you order a main dish, and having a convenience store right in front of the hotel was handy, plus the front desk could arrange courier services and gave me a cardboard box. The only downside was that I had to walk farther from the station than I expected, which was tough with my heavy luggage.
