The breakfast was excellent and the balcony offered a great view. The beds were very comfortable and the location was absolutely peaceful in a well‑maintained house. Walking to the town takes 5‑10 minutes. The owners and staff were friendly. Overall it was top quality and highly recommended.

Here we have a real little gem; this place is simply exceptional with magnificent rooms, superb décor and a breathtaking view in the morning when you wake up. Gail and Gordon are fantastic hosts who let you share their little treasure. When it’s time to leave, the only thing on your mind is to come back as soon as possible. Plus the village of Akaroa is simply beautiful with splendid views. A delight.
