The atmosphere, hotel, cleanliness and staff are all great, but in winter the price‑benefit isn’t good.

The design is expensive and luxurious, though not everywhere modern. The rooms are beautiful, solidly decorated, and have a “Smart Home” system with Bulgari cosmetics. The green territory is huge and a visual treat, featuring several pools, an aqua park, tennis courts, a basketball court, a beach with white Maldivian sand and a pier. The food level is very high, especially in the à‑la‑carte restaurants. The buffet isn’t very generous, but everything tastes good. Sushi is a feast. Dessert, chocolate, and handmade ice cream are offered, and fruits and ice cream are available on the beach. Drinks include a wide selection of imported alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, a large cocktail menu that didn’t impress, 15 types of beer, and various strong spirits. Upon arrival guests are served Bottega champagne 🥂. The fitness and spa area has a spacious gym with Technogym equipment and few people; group classes are held outdoors. The indoor pool, hammam, and several banyas are available. Reception and housekeeping staff are pleasant; waiters are rarely friendly, often showing a stone‑cold face, and they tend to favor English guests. PLUSS: The refined cuisine is very tasty, especially sushi at Estela for lunch and grilled dishes in the courtyard for dinner (any meat or seafood). The vast, picturesque territory is full of greenery and flowering trees, and walking 10,000 steps daily is easy. The sea is especially beautiful, with clear, azure‑turquoise water. The hotel has been renovated and many areas look stunning, including the rooms. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, full of rich life 😁. ABOUT: The target audience is English and European guests over 50, and service is built around them. When being served, you always have to state your room number so staff can confirm you’re not from a nearby hotel (Gloria Golf) and that you don’t have to pay for it 🙈. The hotel suits adult couples over 50 or large families (young couple + children + parents). MINUSES: From early morning all sun loungers are occupied, and by 9:00 there are no free spots 🙈. Some areas look outdated and are few but present (the buffet zone, amphitheatre, Game Center, some outdoor toilets). The buffet area is cramped, making it hard to spread out, especially at dinner. The gaming arcade is all paid 🥲 – this was the first time I encountered such a policy at a hotel of this level. We still rented a table for Russian billiards but regretted it: worn cloth, wobbly cues, and on some the stickers (end caps) were completely rubbed off 🙈. Evening programs in the amphitheatre are weak, but quality shows on the beach stage are good; it’s a pity they only happen three times a week.
