The room sits right in the center of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, quiet and close to everything, with no parking issues. However, our arrival was unplanned, the apartment wasn’t very clean, the furniture was worn, the toilet bowl wasn’t fixed, the bedding was poor, and the front door wouldn’t close properly – we had to call the owner at 23:30 to get in. It’s a shame because the owner is kind and the house is well‑located, but the accommodation needs improvement.

A stunning room in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Marie, the owner, was incredibly kind and very helpful, fulfilling every request we had. Even though we had booked a smaller room, she offered us a larger one (which wasn’t yet available at the time of booking) that featured a gorgeous terrace overlooking the vineyards. We absolutely recommend this place.

The only perk is its near‑center location in the village. The mini‑suite is actually a room in the owner’s house with a shared entrance; accessing the second rented room requires passing through the “mini‑suite.” The hallway is very crowded, making it hard to move a suitcase. The relaxation area is only 1 m by 2 m, tucked behind a staircase. The bathroom is not private, has mold in the shower, and the toilet is broken. The coffee maker, kettle, and microwave in the hallway are unplugged, and the wall sockets are inaccessible. The room isn’t heated, and the cleaning is very mediocre. I do not recommend this place.
