“Neglected wiring”
The room lighting is dimmable, heating is sufficient, the food is good, and the service is good. At dinner a water carafe cost 4 €/l and I couldn’t bring it to the room; at another nearby hotel a new glass bottle of water cost 2 €/l and it became mine. At one dinner the main course, Ossobuco, had barely a teaspoon of meat – the rest was just bone. Prosciutto with strawberries/chocolate was good only for a momentary wow effect lasting one day. During one afternoon buffet the only savory option available was sandwiches, and they ran out 50 minutes before the buffet ended, leaving only sweet pastries, yet no one did anything about it. At one dinner lamps hanging above some tables went out, and the manager fixed it by pushing a wooden board against the ceiling – it looked like she kept that board specifically for this purpose and knew exactly where to push. At the end they asked me to pay the full amount, which I had already paid via Booking, but after a quick check they acknowledged that I had already paid.
