“I understand the "downshift" vibe of Siwa, but basic things like windows and clean ceilings are a must. We onl”
The staff and the manager were exceptional, helping us have breakfast at a nearby sister hotel with friends and even handling a difficult, intoxicated group of guests. Unfortunately, the stay was very uncomfortable: we booked two rooms—one on the first floor had no glass in the window, making it freezing at night when temperatures dropped to 10 °C, while the second‑floor room suffered from constant cement dust falling from the ceiling onto the bed. Facilities were lacking: no heaters, no AC, no hair dryers. The bathroom leaked everywhere, leaving the floor perpetually wet, and no basic toiletries like soap or shampoo were provided. The GPS coordinates in the app were wrong, making the location hard to find. The atmosphere was ruined by a loud, intoxicated group of Russians who even stole the router on our floor and lost their keys, forcing the manager to break down their door in the middle of the night.
