If you’re into jungle camp vibes or “back to basics,” this spot is worth a look. Sylviane, the owner, is super friendly and gave solid directions and local tips. The setting is gorgeous, quiet, and feels like you’re in the middle of nature. I appreciated the attention to detail: good mosquito screens around the huts, shelves and hooks for gear (no desk, though), and the way the rainforest shower is built. Mickey at the nearby simple restaurant can whip up tasty dinner and breakfast, and it’s nice chatting with him. On the downside, it feels pricey for what you get, especially in Comores where prices aren’t cheap. The huts, shower, and toilet are basic, and you could snag a comfy hotel room for the same price. The path to the shower and toilet is a bit far, uneven with rocks and branches, so you might trip or get hurt at night.
