“6/10 not improvements”

There are plenty of beach spots, the hotel is large, the food offers many options, the à la carte restaurant Wabi Sabi is great, and the booking deal included a free airport transfer even though it’s a family hotel. It’s big enough to accommodate families with kids and solo travelers. The double‑bed room isn’t really a double‑bed room; the beds are so close you’re essentially sharing one. The location is not great because you have to walk 15 minutes to the nearest grocery or ATM in a remote area that feels unsafe. There is no ATM or currency exchange in the hotel, so you either exchange at the airport with a bad rate or leave the staff without tips unless you have euros. Cleaning is poor; the toilet wasn’t cleaned properly for 2 or 3 days. Breakfast isn’t tasty, but the other meals are good. It’s weird that despite having the Exclusivi app you can’t order anything to a sunbed on the beach through it. In another hotel with the same app, you could just scan the sunbed QR code and order whatever you want. In 4 days, a staff member came once asking what we wanted to drink. This area definitely needs improvement. The odd shops on the 3rd floor don’t sell typical beach items like hats. Even though I booked a sea‑view room, I was given a ground‑floor room with no sea view, and the crew always sat in front of my balcony, so the windows were closed all the time and the sea was not visible. I want to formally complain about our stay at your hotel and especially about how an incident on our departure day was handled. We deliberately chose a pricier 5‑star hotel and expected a high standard and professional service. Unfortunately, when a problem actually arose, we were very disappointed. Since we were leaving in the evening on our last vacation day, the hotel told us that after check‑out we could use a room with showers and lockers to keep our personal items safe. Lockers were available, but none of them could be locked. This is, in our view, already a significant service defect because we were explicitly told we could keep our belongings there securely. Because we had to leave our items there, we went to the bar for about 30 minutes to get water. When we returned, we found that some of our personal items were missing. We immediately went to the reception and asked them to contact the cleaning staff because the room had been fully cleaned during our brief absence. Thus, we naturally suspected that the missing items might have been taken during cleaning. Unfortunately, the reception could not or did not resolve the incident. We were only told that the manager would contact us and sort it out. Until today – now two weeks later – no one has reached out. I have tried to contact via email multiple times, but my messages were not answered. Even over the phone I was simply told to write an email.

“Luxus körülmények kiváló helyen.”

The park, the location, the pools, the cleanliness, the pastries, the fruit, the vegetables, the abundance of water, and especially the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The bathroom seemed to need renovation. We missed the paper towel, and it was disappointing that we didn’t receive a cotton swab even after asking.

“Ok but wouldnt go back”

The food at the restaurant and the staff at the beach bar were great, and the jetty for sunbathing is nice. The air‑con in the room wasn’t working.

“Ein wirklich erstklassiges Hotel in dem ich gerne wieder Urlaub machen möchte”

A truly great hotel. The pool area is very clean and large, with plenty of comfortable loungers. Animation is present but not intrusive. Music by the pool is good and not too loud. Rooms and service are very clean. If something is wrong, e.g., the mattress too hard/soft or the pillows too high/low, it’s swapped immediately. Food in all areas is very good and plentiful. Whether it’s the main restaurant, specialty restaurants, the Gözleme station, or the bistro, the quality is consistently high and tasty. The beach area is very clean and also has plenty of loungers. Cocktails and drinks at the many bars are delicious. If you’re vacationing in Side, stay here. The bellboy (luggage carrier) acted provocatively after the room briefing, leaned on the wardrobe, and complained that my son didn’t tip enough. In the bistro bar, the bartender, Mr. Ramasan, also asked me for a tip. I usually tip generously on the last days if I’m satisfied, but not when I’m being asked for it!
