The place is very pretty, with a cool location. The staff were friendly and sent a packet of information before arrival so everything was clear. Breakfast at the nearby venue 300 m away was a croissant and coffee—so Italian. The shower in the room had a glass wall, which isn’t convenient for family travel standards, and there were two beds for four people.

The B&B sits in a strategic spot, was clean, and the owner was helpful. The room even had a mini fridge. Parking at Piazza Matteotti is close and quite convenient. Unfortunately, we arrived on a holiday when the ZTL was active, so be careful – don't follow Google directions to the front, instead go behind via Via Vittorio Veneto and leave the car at Piazza Matteotti, then walk to the B&B. That’s the only inconvenience; carrying heavy luggage or many bags is a bit of a hurdle because you can’t unload in front of the building. The B&B has no elevator, though the stairs are short. Breakfast is served at a pastry shop with many tasty sweets. It’s a pity there’s no international breakfast, so those with gluten or lactose intolerances can’t use the paid service. Overall we were fine, Altamura is lovely and if we return we’ll definitely consider this place. I recommend it with those precautions in mind.

The room was very welcoming and well‑maintained, located in a very convenient spot – central yet close to parking and main roads. It was quiet, well‑ventilated, and had all the comforts. There’s also a common terrace for relaxing or a private aperitif. The host suggested excellent spots for shopping and dining. One detail that isn’t a flaw but worth warning about: the shower is in the room and the bathroom door is glass‑paneled, which might be a concern if you’re traveling with people you’re not very familiar with.
