Hôtel Le Jersey, in Saint-Malo, is situated on Sillon beachfront, less than 2 kilometres from the famous pirate town. Most rooms offer ocean views, with ensuite bathrooms, satellite TV, and free Wi-Fi. The hotel features Antinéa restaurant with daily lunch and dinner, and Thermes Marins seawater spa just 300 metres away. On-site parking is available at an extra cost, by reservation.

The location was great, right on the sea. I had a negative experience: the description said the room was on the ground floor, which we chose because we had trouble going up and down steep stairs, but when we arrived a very rude receptionist claimed, without showing our booking, that the room we had booked was on the third floor, accessed by a steep wooden spiral staircase.

A tiny hotel that’s just right.

We liked the direct sea access and the bathroom. I booked because the hotel advertised parking that didn't require a reservation, but it was full, so we had to park on the street. I wanted parking for our sports car and didn't want to leave it on the street; finding a free spot was hard and we ended up parked far away.
