“A conveniently located stay, but not the cleanest.”

The spot is fairly convenient, only about a 15‑minute walk from Okayama station, though you have to pass through an underpass that can be confusing. The two‑bed private room was roomy enough, so overall the location works well. On the downside, the toilets had a bad odor and the bathrooms were cramped, with laundry machines shoved into the space blocking the sink. There’s only one toilet and shower, meaning you often have to wait for the person ahead of you. A cleaner, more spacious restroom would have been preferable. The key to my room was broken, so I couldn’t lock it, which was an inconvenience and a security concern. The rooms feel dated, with carpeted floors that feel less hygienic, and I was definitely a bit disappointed by these issues.

“多分また行かないと思います”

I thought the check‑in time had been communicated, but two of the three rooms were uncleaned. I only checked in, so it was okay, but I still felt uneasy. A pet‑like stench lingered from the entrance, and rooms A and B were even more concerning. The parking is first‑come, first‑served with space for two cars, but the first driver took up a lot of space, so I couldn’t park. A cockroach was in the toilet, the shower head in the bath was broken, and the provided towels were dirty.

The price was good for what was offered, but the facilities were rather old.

I had already sent a message with questions before arrival, but never received a reply. Without any prior notice, on the day of check‑in and again on the second day, they told me to move rooms. On the checkout day, before 11 am, the door knob was turned repeatedly from the outside and I felt scared.
