SLOW - Villa & Café

We had an excellent stay at Slow Villa Café in Tangalle; the location is perfect, with a beautiful beach within less than 5 minutes on foot—ideal for relaxing and enjoying the calm. The staff are absolutely adorable, always smiling and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The setting is gorgeous, with careful and charming décor. The atmosphere is peaceful and restful, exactly what we were looking for. We recommend this place without hesitation and would gladly return 🌴✨

“Perfect Place to relax”

A very nice place with a stunning ocean view and the surrounding jungle; the hosts were incredibly welcoming and the breakfast was very good.

“Fantastische rustige plek”

A fantastic spot right on the coast of Tangalle, right up against a steep slope. We had our own tuk‑tuk and could climb up without any trouble. The view over the sea is gorgeous and the area is very quiet. The B&B, run by a French owner, is lovely. The room is amazing, with a private entrance, a balcony and a little seat. Everything we could need is there. Breakfast is excellent, with great coffee and homemade ice cream. Manager Dinidu is very friendly and helpful. You can walk a few minutes to the idyllic beach. Dinidu recommended a few good restaurants. We chose Cylon Chef right across from the Slow entrance and had a fantastic meal. This B&B turned out to be a real gem. Cheers, Jacco and Sacha

“Heerlijk!”

What a delightful small‑scale place, with such sweet people! Everything was so nice: the beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast, lovely garden. And of course, after a day at the beach, a homemade ‘galato’ as a reward for the steep climb up…
