I had a wonderful stay at aldea del primitivo, extended my visit, and wish I could have stayed longer; the location is perfect, tucked away from the village yet close enough to reach it easily; the place is stunning, surrounded by greenery and birds, the hosts are lovely and helpful, nature lovers who assist with all arrangements.

The location is super cool, right in the jungle just past town. River water levels can be troublesome sometimes, but that adds to the adventure vibe.

“Surrounded by nature, wonderful hosts and a beautiful place to stay!”

Everything was absolutely perfect! Valentina and Carlos are the friendliest hosts we’ve ever met; they created a wonderful environment, the whole place is beautiful and surrounded by nature. We wish we could have stayed longer—four nights wasn’t enough! Termales is great for nature lovers and kind people. Valentina picked us up from the beach when we arrived and walked us back when we left, which was so kind and helpful. She also helped us organize many trips while we were there. Thank you for sharing your home with us; we would love to come back one day! Nothing was wrong; it’s fantastic!

This isn’t for everyone, and it’s important to know what to expect before booking. The accommodation is simple cabins in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by nature and wildlife. You may encounter various animals, and depending on conditions, getting back to the camp can involve crossing three rivers. It can be challenging, especially if you’re looking for a conventional hotel experience, but that’s also what makes the place special. Staying here feels like a real experience in the Chocó jungle, far from usual tourist spots. The surroundings are beautiful and the atmosphere unique. It’s not about luxury or traditional comfort, but about being immersed in nature and experiencing something completely different. What really sets it apart are the owners, Valentina and Carlos. They are incredibly kind and genuinely do everything they can to make guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. They’re always available, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking an authentic jungle experience who understands the challenges. If you’re prepared for that, the wild and remote setting is actually part of the magic.

“Estada dels somnis”

Everything! Their immersion in the heart of the jungle and the beautiful cabin. Shared kitchen, water, and coffee to enjoy all day! I didn’t mind it, but I understand it can be uncomfortable to rely on tides to walk or “swim” to the place.
