“I wouldn't book this if you want to enjoy jacuzzi its impossible because of flies infestation”

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at the property, especially after paying £2,300 for the Family Lodge. When booking, we were told the photos showed the Couple Lodge, which set our expectations. The Family Lodge we received did not match those expectations. Worse, there were several safety and maintenance problems. The shower was faulty and got extremely hot, posing a burn risk. My son was locked inside the bathroom and we had to unlock it from the outside. The upstairs bathroom lock was also completely broken. These are serious safety concerns that should have been fixed before guests arrived. The jacuzzi was infested with flies, making it unusable and unhygienic. Overall, the property fell short of the standard we expected, especially for the £2,300 we paid. We were very disappointed with the accommodation’s condition and the safety issues. To make matters worse, the owner let us leave a day early because of the hazards we reported. We followed that agreement and left early. It is extremely disappointing that the owner now denies many of the problems we raised. The overall experience was unacceptable, and the property failed to provide the safe and satisfactory lodging we paid for. We expect the matter to be taken seriously and for a proper resolution to be offered given the circumstances.

“Beautiful lodges in a stunning location!”

Great lodges to stay in- really quiet and secluded spot but easy to access local villages and towns. Katie was brilliant- she got in contact after we cancelled 1 of the 3 lodges we had booked to ensure the right ones were still booked and was really responsive. The lodges are stunning- the photos really do not do them justice. They had everything we needed and more!. Nothing!

“We will definitely be booking again!”

We had a great stay at this lodge - it felt like rustic luxury from the moment we walked in, and we loved watching deer and squirrels outside our window. The hot tub was a highlight, especially in the evenings with a drink and a view of the stars. Our hosts, James and Katie, were really lovely and accommodating. One tiny thing, I wished we'd had a dustpan and brush to tidy up a bit during our stay, and I found the mattress a bit too firm, but they kindly provided an extra duvet when I asked.

I was really impressed with the attention to detail here - everything was spotless and the location was amazing. However, I did find the hot tub a bit too cool, and the sofa and bed weren't super comfortable. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay, but a few small issues took it down a notch.

“Me My family and I had a really nice”

The property was lovely and clean, and the staff were really friendly - I didn't have any major issues or complaints, it was just a really pleasant stay.
