“Todmorden expedition”

The place was exceptionally clean with beautiful views, the staff were excellent, and the breakfast and food were superb; the house itself is gorgeous. The room got a bit chilly in the evenings when we needed to shower and change. The location is as described, but we didn’t realize that the walk to town for dinner would be on steep, unlit roads without footpaths, so you really need a taxi at night.

“Finest Guest House in the land.”

The views were spectacular and Ian welcomed us with a warm, five‑star hospitality; it’s the best guest house or hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The bedroom felt luxurious, the shower was stunning, and every complimentary item we could think of was there and more. We’ve never had a personalized experience like this before. Breakfast was out of this world. The only thing that could have been better would have been a small shelf in the bathroom for our own toiletries, but that doesn’t take away from the fantastic stay.

“Excellent hosts, excellent location everything excellent!”

The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented; the breakfast room offers stunning views over the countryside. The guesthouse and bedroom are spotless, tastefully furnished, and come equipped with all the creature comforts.

The place was nice, the room lovely, and it offered good value; the staff were friendly and took good care of us. Nothing else was lacking—everything was amazing, making for a great stay.
