“Disappointing”

The hotel’s proximity to the city centre was a plus, and the internet was decent enough for basic use; the staff were helpful. On the downside, the hygiene was terrible—dirty sheets, litter and grime on the floor, and furniture that looked worn out. The location felt like a ghetto, there was no elevator, and the shower water was only slightly cold.

The staff were warm and welcoming, even giving us Turkish blue‑eye souvenirs as we left; the restaurant was clean and the breakfast was decent. The room, however, felt a bit old and cramped, the hygiene was only average, and the Wi‑Fi signal and speed were weak enough that I couldn’t browse properly.

The staff were friendly, and the hotel offered a kitchen that I could use, which was convenient. Unfortunately, the WiFi in my room worked only about 30 % of the time on my laptop and not at all on my phone. The bathroom could use a makeover and a thorough cleaning.

The place is in a great spot, just a short walk to the Pier and other attractions, and the metro is nearby; the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean. There is no elevator, so choose a lower floor if you have trouble climbing. The AC controller in my room had a faded keypad that made it hard to operate. Overall, it was a great deal and I was very satisfied with the hotel.

“Perfect hotel”

The hotel sits close to the metro and the Basmane railway station in Izmir; the reception staff were perfect and brought humor into their interactions with guests. I would recommend this hotel.
