The building is a single‑story with a long, narrow hallway, and you get in through a car wash and a bar that hosts private parties – a bit like a motel. Finding it was a challenge, and there was no shower curtain, but for a solo stay it was comfortable enough.

I was looking for a quick bed and shower in Plovdiv and Solar delivered – a decent room, a bar, and some outdoor tables, though I barely had time to try them. They handed me a larger room three hours before the official check‑in, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is in the southern industrial area, so the scenery is pretty bland, but a bus stop nearby makes it easy to hop to the city centre, Kapana and the Old Town.

“Please avoid this so called hotel at all costs”

I was misled by the Google Maps address – it pointed to a DPD depot, not a hotel. When I called, no one answered and the property claimed a room was ready but never responded again, so I had to book somewhere else at the last minute while my 3‑year‑old slept in the car. The whole ordeal was frustrating, unprofessional, and left us out of pocket.
