I was pleased that the hotel was only 6 minutes from the airport, but I was annoyed to find other guests’ dirty shorts on the floor by the bed, and the sink for washing hands was missing from the toilet area. The room itself was very small.

Checking in was straightforward and I could park right in front of my room, which had all the essentials—microwave, iron, coffee maker, fridge—though the space was tight. The place felt a bit run‑down and uncomfortable; one remote had dead batteries, but I didn’t ask for a replacement because it was late. I found a metal chair behind the door and used it to block the door while sleeping. The price seemed high for the quality, especially since the hotel was near the fairgrounds when no fair was happening.

The rooms were clean and there was plenty of parking.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean with all the amenities, and the location was great for us. However, the parking spot was open and on a bright day a random drunk man approached us, and the cleaning staff were around but didn’t respond. He only left when my partner came walking.

The location and cleanliness were fine, but the room was much smaller than I expected and there was no rubber mat in the tub or shower.
