“坐落于半山腰的百年老建筑民宿,景观绝佳,干净温馨且服务极具亲和力,非常推荐。”
The inn sits halfway up the mountain, offering a superb location and a balcony with a stunning view; check‑in around sunset captures the blue hour, and the sunrise is equally photogenic. Built in a 100‑year‑old wooden structure, the rooms have limited sound insulation, but guests are generally courteous and speak softly, so the cicadas outside at night still allow a good sleep; the tatami and mattress are spotless, complete with pillow and duvet covers, and shared bathroom and kitchen are clean. The front desk woman is gentle and patient, even taking time to explain and tour the facilities after check‑in—her hospitality feels warmer and more attentive than a typical business hotel, making it highly recommendable. I’ll definitely return if I visit Onomichi again. I couldn’t find any major complaints about price, staff attitude, check‑in experience or location; the only drawback is that the inn is on the mountain slope, about a 10‑minute walk up, so travelers with heavy luggage should consider that.
