The room upgrade saved the trip, and Char was amazing to work with at the front desk. It just wasn’t really a resort.

“It was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay”

I liked being close to the lake and to family members who live there. It’s dated, smells moldy in places, and definitely needs a facelift. It’s too expensive for the outdated amenities.

Not much. The buildings were in disrepair. We booked without knowing we would be placed in a satellite building instead of the main hotel. Pretty much everything was frustrating—check‑in was slow, the buildings need serious repairs, and the stairwell to the pool had stairs that were so soft I almost slipped through one. This place used to be great and nice; it’s a shame it’s 1989.
