We really liked the area, the village, the garden and the people. Even though we were the only guests that night, the house was well heated, and in the morning a hearty breakfast awaited us in a room warmed by a fireplace, just for us. The two ladies who cooked for us were friendly and kind. The dining room is right next to the fortified church. The cost of accommodation and meals is very good for what is offered. Unfortunately, the zip‑line in the yard was broken and the child was eager to try it.

We were a large group with a dog and a cat, and everyone fit comfortably. The place was warm, cozy, and very quiet, and the kids loved the big garden and playground. You can cook yourself or pay a very low price for local Romanian food prepared by the host. If you’re traveling with children, I suggest visiting the children’s museum (ask the host) and the Selistat museum, which is interesting for both kids and adults. There are plenty of beautiful bike trails nearby for all ages.
