Accommodation was fabulous, the food great, and the staff did everything they could to make you feel welcome. The spa was exactly what made our stay perfect, and overall it was a flawless night out to celebrate my wife’s birthday. It couldn’t be better.

I was upgraded to a nice room, and we only had breakfast at the hotel. We only stayed one night because we were on our way to the Sandringham Flower Show, and the hotel felt a bit dated in some spots.

The service was amazing, but the gardens and spa left something to be desired.

Everything else was great—relaxed vibe, a lovely room, no pressure to follow strict hotel rules, and my wife adored the spa! I did wonder whether the main courses at dinner were truly fresh or just defrosted and presented to look original by the chef. I also felt the wine list reflected the hotel wine buyer’s personal taste, with a musty flavor that was overpowering; standard whites like Pinot Grigiot were missing. Breakfast should have been included in the price.

The restaurant served exceptional food both evenings we stayed, and we were shocked to find cuisine of a standard usually reserved for top‑end London restaurants; that alone makes me want to return.
