The hotel was superb, well‑located, clean, and the rooms were magnificent; the staff were adorable and attentive to small details, and the food offered was excellent. Nothing negative.

The beachfront location was great, the breakfast and vegetarian dishes were excellent, with new suggestions each day. The place was calm, the staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the concept supported the local community in Rincon.

The place was very beautiful and the staff super friendly, and the food was great—though only vegetarian. The pace was slow, the beach endless and beautiful, and the ocean water warm. Many dogs roamed the whole beach, which was great if you like them. However, everyone at the hotel (except the owners) and all the excursion guides spoke only Spanish, which we didn’t know and made things a bit hard and less fun because there was little to no information transfer. It was very hot in the room at night because there was no A/C and no breeze, only some ventilators that were rather loud. The village wasn’t very pretty and we didn’t feel very safe there (nothing happened though). Construction nearby was active during weekdays, which was very loud and not relaxing, and on weekends the village played extremely loud music that you could hear in the hotel. We would have appreciated if the hotel handled the laundry, but they made us go to the village (10 min) and to a local laundry shop (and pick it up a day later). There was a weird smell in the bathroom during and after showering, perhaps from filtered/reused water.
