The place was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful, though it’s a bit out of town and the Wi‑Fi isn’t free.

This is the best backpacker spot in town—clean, the owner is very helpful and well connected—just that the airport transfer costs 70PGK per person for a 15–20 minute drive, which felt a touch pricey, but overall I was very satisfied.

I booked months ahead but they cancelled my reservation because of overbooking; I ended up staying at Hagen Inter Hotel instead, and they were great.

The hospitality was outstanding: Norah and her family went above and beyond, treating me like family, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay; it’s a rare gem even though it’s on the outskirts of Mt Hagen Town, well kept with a rural feel, and I’d recommend it 100 %. The family atmosphere and second‑to‑none hospitality were the only positives.
