The location was convenient for our needs, but a car was necessary; the hotel is dog‑friendly, rooms are a nice size with good beds, and the staff and service were solid; the golf course was great. However, it feels a bit soul‑less, and the bar area could be more comfortable and welcoming.

I love how quiet this place is at night, making it ideal for a good night’s sleep, and the spa facilities are wonderful.

The hotel was clean with great staff and the parking spaces were a good size. The vegan breakfast was all fried this time, so we stopped coming for breakfast, especially after I asked about baked beans and the waitress looked surprised to learn they might contain meat juices. Also, the linen cupboards were near the breakfast kitchen on the lower floor, so the bedding and towels shared the food smells.
