Merzouga starlit desert camp

The place is ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Rooms: Very spacious and clean, with shower and toilet. Staff: Very friendly and attentive to everything we needed, they helped us with everything. Food: Spectacular, both dinner and breakfast. Typical and good food. We were lucky to stay two nights and they served different dishes so we didn’t repeat. It’s worth seeing the stars at night and the sunrise. The place is in the middle of the desert, but near other camps. There is air conditioning but it must be paid separately. Any transfer costs at least 50€/person.

Camel trek, buggy ride, food. Air conditioning and hot tub were not available even though they were in the booking, and there was no welcome at the property.

What really impresses is the level of organization and attention to detail despite the challenging environment. The staff were always available but unobtrusive. Activities flexibly adapted to guests’ wishes. Inside the tent everything was tidy and well maintained, including water, towels, and extra blankets for cold nights. That personal care feeling makes guests feel as if the experience was made especially for them.
