Great location, easy to reach by public transport, and the owners’ communication before and during the stay was excellent. A wonderful place with friendly owners, and breakfast was a treat.

Parking was available on the property, and from the stop just outside you could catch a bus into Torquay; a train station lay across the road. Each morning a cooked breakfast was served, plus cereals and toast. Our ground‑floor room faced the garden, was very quiet, and the road noise didn’t bother us. I’d have liked a grapefruit or fruit salad starter before the cooked breakfast, but I was happy with the cereal.

The location was good, with the train station and bus stop just a few minutes away. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, which really mattered for a pleasant stay. Everything was good.
