The Edenhurst Guesthouse

The room was stunning, spotless, and cozy with an amazing sea view; the location was superb—just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and the train station, making travel a breeze; the hosts were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming.

“Perfect seafront location”

Everything was perfect: the large seaview room, the excellent cooked breakfast, good quality Wi‑Fi, and the very welcoming hosts.

“Great staff, very clean, great location ,but very tired and run down”

The location was great and the room was lovely and clean, and the staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant, but the room felt very tired and needed an update; the mattress on the double bed was terrible, sinking in the middle because the springs had gone, so we ended up sleeping on the bunk bed as we both rolled to the middle of the double; the curtain linings were shredded to pieces and the screws kept falling out of the chairs, the bedding was lovely and clean but torn in places; the room did not come with breakfast and we were not given the option to pay extra for it, even though other rooms received breakfast; the price was very high for a room only at the back of the guest house with no sea view, and we were charged £130 a night, far too much for a tired room with no breakfast and no sea view.

“Schönes Zimmer im Dachstock, mit Meersicht. Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Das Hotel hat etwas antiken Charme.”

A beautiful room on the top floor with a sea view; the host was very friendly; the hotel has a bit of antique charm, like most buildings along the seafront.
