“Wouldn't win "Four in a bed"”
The bed was comfy and I slept well, the place was generally clean, but the hairdryer was so old I avoided using it, the mug felt like a thimble, the TV faced away from the bed, I missed breakfast because it only served later on weekends and no fruit was offered, and being told “you’re early” at check‑in was off‑putting, followed by a bell‑ring wait; I’d prefer no plants at all over plastic ones, and aside from the owner’s “delightful” greeting I saw no other staff; having to find a nearby spot close to Romsey on short notice left little choice, so I won’t return, giving it a 5.0/10.
The breakfast was fantastic, giving the stay a solid 8.0/10 score.
