“A Convenient Location, but Not a Good Choice”
Amstel Corner Hotel is in a reasonably convenient spot for exploring Amsterdam, with many attractions and neighborhoods within easy reach. However, despite the location, it was not a good choice for my stay, and I would not stay here again. The hotel is an old house converted into a hotel, and it does not have a reception or an elevator. My room was on the third floor, which made carrying luggage up the stairs inconvenient. The air‑conditioning unit in the room was also extremely noisy, making it impossible to sleep with the AC on. On top of that, the noise from the neighboring rooms was terrible and significantly affected the quality of my stay. The host was very nice and polite, which I appreciated. Nevertheless, the lack of an elevator, the noisy air conditioning, the poor soundproofing, and the absence of a reception made the overall experience disappointing. Overall, although the location is acceptable and the host was kind, Amstel Corner Hotel was not a good choice for me, and I would not stay here again. The price was too high.
