“A charming boutique hotel with very friendly staff, a lovely café and a peaceful atmosphere – we thoroughly enjoyed our”

We adored the boutique vibe, the calm feel, and the super welcoming staff; the café stood out as a gorgeous, relaxing spot after a day in Varanasi. Even though the hotel sits a bit outside the city centre, the quieter setting was appreciated, everything ran smoothly, and we felt at ease the whole time. Nothing to complain about – it was a truly pleasant stay and we were happy with everything.

We were not convinced at all; the room was filthy, with stained sheets and pillows. On top of that, the receptionist was very unclear and demanded cash payment. The property itself is nice, but something just isn’t working!

“Oké hotel maar voor ons geen fijn verblijf geweest”

The staff were friendly and arranged a taxi to the airport, though the first one they booked didn’t show up, fortunately the second did. The coffee shop is nice. However, the sheets and towels were dirty; we had to ask for a fresh set three times because each new set was still soiled. Breakfast was scant and unappetizing, so we skipped it. The next morning after dinner we fell ill. Power outages were frequent and came back on quickly. The location feels far from the “civilized world.” The shower was cold, and we couldn’t pay by credit card; they sent a link that didn’t work either, so we had to withdraw cash.

The temple was too far away and the Ola Uber driver had trouble finding the place because it’s tucked in from the main road. The location is a downside.

“The stay was great. Very good food. The coffee shop is great. Food is very good. Staff is amazing”

The staff were great—very respectful and friendly. The outside area isn’t clean, though. We were promised a deluxe double with a balcony, but it’s just a bay window; opening the curtains reveals the terrace of the building next door, which isn’t ideal.
