The reception was really nice, but our sheets hadn't been changed and were dirty, the creamer and sugar packets were already open, and the breakfast looked so bad that I didn't even want to buy it.

I appreciated that the property was close to the mall for easy access, but I really couldn't get comfortable because the television in the room wasn't working and I had to call the front desk at least twice for help, after which they moved us to another room. The area was extremely small, feeling like a shoebox, and the restroom space was horrible with no legroom or movement due to how they framed the toilet and shower. Basically, you pay for an ambience but get no real comfort. I wouldn't recommend booking there except for the location.

The staff was helpful, yet there was no microwave in the room, no wash rags in the bathroom, my confirmed requests from booking weren't fulfilled, the hallway was dark, there was no breakfast, it was overpriced for what you get, and someone was being arrested in the lobby when I arrived.

I really liked that the hotel was close to everything we needed and wanted to do; overall it was clean and the room was very quiet. I truly enjoyed meeting the front desk staff, who were friendly and engaging to me and other guests, and I appreciated that they had a gym that was mostly clean and ready to use. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable for me, so I didn't sleep much because of my sciatica, but my wife slept like a baby. The two ellipticals in the gym were unusable: one didn't turn on at all, and the other worked but its motion was off.

The rooms were clean and the environment was so nice, with plenty of space around. The staff were friendly and ready to help with any concern, from the front desk to the cleaners, all very welcoming. Next time I visit Houston, I will stay there.
