The location is very close to SAM. The property wasn’t very full, so it was odd that we were assigned the second‑to‑last room down the drive; to make matters worse, we were right next to the dumpster bin and the noisy Ibis were fighting and squawking all the time!

The location is good, close to SAM and with easy access to the lake area and local sights. It looks like the hotel had a partial facelift, mainly the bathroom and new bedroom furniture. The tiles in the shower were slippery and slick. The king‑size bed was actually two beds that should have been zipped together, but they weren't, so it was uncomfortable. The staff were not very engaged, especially at checkout, and none of them asked me about my stay, so I’m leaving my comments here.

Breakfasts were outstanding and the restaurant had a beautiful view overlooking the lake. I just wish I could have stayed longer!

Quiet, clean and space to sit. Blanket given as alternative to the doona. Short walk to community club for dinner. Slippery shower

I showed up a few hours before the official check‑in time and asked to leave my luggage, and they let me in early because my room was ready, which was great. The room itself was fantastic and the area was quiet, though the gym was locked and I had no idea how to get in without any staff around.
