I liked the location, the bathroom and shower, and the beds were comfortable, and the restaurant food was decent. The air conditioning was too loud, and when we asked the hotel about an electric vehicle charging cable, they said yes but we couldn’t find the extension upon arrival, which made moving around difficult and disrupted our plans.

The resort was beautiful, but it was remote and hard to reach the nearby village, and taxis were almost impossible to catch.

We loved the quiet green surroundings, the spotless rooms, the hearty breakfast, the hot shower, and the helpful staff who spoke English even though we didn't know Spanish; the kids had a blast at the pool, with a friendly hotel dog and a trampoline. The mattresses were too firm for my liking, and getting to the hotel without a car was a hassle because we had to call local taxis and struggled to find a driver on Sunday night at 7:30 pm from Doradal village.

The food was delicious, the service from everyone was very friendly, and the room was perfect, but we missed having a small fridge in the room.
