If you want to escape crowds and reconnect with nature, this is a good spot. The surroundings are peaceful with stunning mountain views and lush rice fields, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. However, our tent sat at the very bottom of the property, something we didn’t know when booking. Getting to the restaurant meant a long climb up steep, winding stairs every time, which can be tough if you’re not fit or have mobility issues. We often hesitated to return to the tent after dropping off items, and there were no chairs or seating outside the tent, so we couldn’t sit outside and enjoy the views. Room service was available, but you had to eat on the bed inside the tent, and the table was very small for three people. The biggest drawback was an unpleasant sewage smell inside the tent from the bathroom, which made it hard to sleep; after the first night I seriously considered moving. The tent itself was nicely designed and cosy. Like many places in Bali, alcohol was limited to one type of beer, which isn’t a big deal but worth knowing if you like wine or cocktails with dinner. On the bright side, the restaurant was lovely and the food was very good.
