The location was great, with little shops on the street for water, snacks, etc. It was next to a restaurant and several hair salons, and just a stone’s throw from the tram and metro stops, which I used a lot! The air conditioning worked well and the bedding was good. I didn’t see a mini‑fridge in the room or a fridge in the shared kitchen, though I guess I might have missed it before booking. The shower stall was narrow; I’m of normal height and couldn’t move around easily, so heavier guests might struggle. The towels were clean but rough—maybe a fabric softener would help. Also, we couldn’t use the room’s balcony because it’s split with the kitchen, and outside there were other rooms drying towels; the host apparently washed them and hung a drying line on the balcony, so we were quite restricted. I like natural light and fresh air, so that was a disappointment.

The room was clean, tidy, and the hosts were very helpful. The apartment sits in the heart of Rome, close to the Colosseum and a metro station. Bus stops were also just 2–5 minutes away from the apartment.
