“Triangle with a view”
The hide‑out hut was immaculately clean and the bed felt incredibly cozy, the view was spectacular, and the bathroom was spotless—no problems at all. A nice touch was the microwave available in the pot‑wash area.
“Living in a beautiful painting”
Living in a painting—what a beautiful, special spot to base yourself for exploring Mull. The drive north is a bit long because the inland road isn’t available, but the hideaway cabins are perfect, offering amazing views and a super comfy bed. The bathroom block is nearby. Two things to keep in mind: don’t buy firewood in advance since it could rain all the time, and the midgies can be too wild to sit outside; you can buy wood at the local inn or shop next door. If the owners read this, another tip would be to supply two plates or bowls—cutlery would be appreciated because you need to self‑cater. The midgies were a real issue!
The setting was beautiful, cosy, and romantic. The only drawback was that the toilet cubicles could use a little more space.
“Hideouts were a bed only.”
The place was warm and dry, located nicely on the island with easy access to a pub, laundry facilities, a convenience store, and a bakery. However, basic amenities were missing: no cutlery, no fridge, no running water, and no toaster.
“Loved the location and facilities at the campsite. Great shop and friendly staff.”
The hideout offered stunning views, and the bed linen and towels were lovely and everything was very clean. A cold water tap inside the hideout would have been handy, and the small double bed felt a bit tight.
