Very nice staff and great breakfast. The hotel was right next to the castle. Will come back again. Nothing to complain about.

“Kurzurlaub mit vielen Eindrücken aus der Natur”

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was great, and they constantly asked if we needed anything else or if something was missing. The view was wonderful. The hotel had Wi‑Fi, and so did the tourist information centre and Hotel Schneide. The room’s air‑conditioning would have been useful on hot days, or at least blinds, and a small fridge would have helped keep the bottles we received from the hotel cool. Unfortunately, neither the town nor the Ritterschänke offered a way to swim in the lake or a pool. The wireless signal outside the hotel was very weak, only working inside the hotels and the tourist information centre. Signposts exist, but not for all caves because they are privatized, so the paths are poor.

“Kurzurlaub”

I really enjoyed my short stay at the Ritterschänke. The staff and the owner were exceptionally friendly, warm, and always ready to help. The breathtaking view over the Altmühltal made the experience extra special. The restaurant is highly recommended – the food is delicious and inviting. I wholeheartedly recommend the Ritterschänke and would love to return.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The rooms were lovely. The food was excellent. Breakfast was tasty. The staff and the owner were very nice. We can only recommend it further and will come back gladly.
