The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us, constantly chatting with us, and the chef prepared meals specifically for our allergy; the beds were incredibly comfortable.

The structure is truly beautiful, with careful attention to furnishings and every detail; it sits inside a stunning golf course (apparently part of the Scottish national championship circuit?), giving it an exclusive club vibe; the staff are professional and friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast à la carte is excellent.

Chef Alistair served breakfast and dinner that were excellently prepared and made us feel right at home; his recommendations on sights and eateries in East Neuk were invaluable.

“Unfortunately not the experience I wanted but beautiful hotel and location. Very lovely rooms”

The property was beautiful and the room stunning, but a group of men in the neighboring room were loud all night from 11 pm until at least 4 am, laughing, FaceTiming, shouting, and slamming doors, leaving me with no sleep; I felt uneasy asking them to quiet down as a lone woman, and in the morning one of the men walked into my room because I hadn’t fully locked the door, which further unsettled me; this ruined what should have been a lovely evening, even though I was pleased with the room and location upon arrival.

The room had a pleasant atmosphere, but there was no internet, the room was cold, and there were no nearby dining options.
