Greenlawn Lodge

Quiet, central spot and a lovely hostess who offered great tips on must‑see spots nearby. The beds were very comfy and breakfast was excellent, plus we could wash our clothes on the premises. We did encounter a minor plumbing issue, but it was resolved quickly.

The house felt incredibly charming and welcoming; our room was clean, cozy, and featured a roomy bathroom. Breakfast was tasty, and we enjoyed a truly relaxing stay—I’d love to return for sure. Highly recommended!

“Lovely Lisdoonvarna lodge”

The lodge was clean, nicely decorated, and the large room (no.5) had a spacious modern bathroom with good shower pressure and hot water. Tricia, the host, was friendly and pleasant to chat with. The freshly made fruit salad was superb, and the included continental breakfast met my needs. The grounds were pretty, and parking in front of the lodge was super handy and felt secure. It was very convenient, just a few minutes’ walk into the village. The bedroom window offered countryside views. I’d have preferred a kettle and tea/coffee in the room instead of the communal area. The accommodation feels a bit pricey for the area (though most places are now). I booked this place months in advance for the Lisdoonvarna matchmaking festival in September; other options were seriously overpriced in my opinion. Demand is high at this time of year, so I wouldn’t have paid more. With heating oil and utilities costs spiking due to the war in the Strait of Hormuz, it’s tough on hospitality and customers alike.
