“Family‑friendly stay with a modern touch”

Everything was perfect. The couple hosts were warm and welcoming, and the room felt like a modern Japanese retreat—spotlessly clean. We enjoyed tea with them, and the kids bonded with their clever dog who even escorted us out at checkout. The bed was super comfy, the location spot on, and we felt like family. Highly recommend, will definitely come back when we visit Yunnan.

“Wonderful staff, but transfer mix‑up”

The staff were amazing, the room was spotless, and the location was perfect. Paying by credit card was a huge plus for us Italians. We hit a snag with the transfer—had to hop on a bus and couldn't find the drop‑off, but the staff caught the mistake and helped us out.

The room was spacious, but the hotel sits inside an old castle, so you end up walking a lot. Luggage handling was a pain—you have to pay extra for outside help, and the service was subpar. Plus, the rates and tours were higher than other places, so it might be better to book elsewhere.

“Great spot, but no mini fridge”

Location and cleanliness were spot on, and the dog was adorable. The only downside was the absence of a mini‑fridge, which made keeping drinks cold a bit of a hassle. Still, the overall vibe was great.

“Kid‑friendly room, but many issues”

The room was perfect for the kid, but the booking listed the wrong location and the place was noisy at night. The shower didn't work on arrival and the next day we barely had hot water. We also missed a room one day, and while there was a washer, no dryer or drying space—at that price there are better options.
