“No good”
The location isn’t good and the house is shared.
“Très mauvais séjour, beaucoup de difficultés avec le réseau téléphonique, communication interrompue due au réseau.”
The kitchen was clean and the shared shower was also tidy. The room was very old‑fashioned, the TV was very old with an internal antenna that didn’t allow for pleasant viewing.
“Bit disappointing feel”
The TV and kettle were both non‑functional, and the road outside was quite noisy.
“Never again. Worst stay ever”
I avoided staying in Room 4 after the disgusting experience in Room 1 the week before, and I even asked for a refund. I didn’t finish my stay in Room 1, leaving a day early. I couldn’t get into the property on arrival; a female staff member had to come out to let me in because the code didn’t work, and I waited in the hot sun for her. The room had a large TV on top of a chest of drawers, which I needed space for my stuff, so I moved it off the stand and it fell off. The staff later falsely claimed I broke the TV, a complete fabrication to avoid refunding me for their awful behavior. I was waiting for an Amazon delivery after staying for a day or two. I heard noise outside my room and saw the front door open with people inside. A man and a woman from Brazil were there, the man was angry, needed the toilet, seemed affected in some way. I told the property people about them because they wanted to talk to her. They asked if I was the property manager on the translator, then went into the lounge. The man used the toilet several times then stormed out angrily. It wasn’t clear if they were supposed to be inside or not. The front door had been left ajar, which is how they got in. I messaged the property manager that I found them concerning. The manager apparently told the people I was concerned about them, and in doing so, I felt my safety was at risk. I was shown a message saying the Brazilian woman had called me “vain.” I was mortified that the host had created that bad feeling between me and the other intimidating guests. I didn’t feel safe there. What I didn’t like was everything, but the worst was the property managers’ attitude, trying to get me in trouble with other guests and putting me at risk, the disgusting dirty bedding, being locked in and unable to get out, and being subjected to false accusations of breaking their TV stand, which should have been wall‑mounted; if the stand was supposed to be attached, it was clearly broken before I arrived because the TV was balanced on it and not attached.
The location was great, the place was clean, and the self‑catering setup had all the equipment I needed to enjoy my stay.
