A lovely historic hotel perched on the hill overlooking the bay below. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed stunning views from the balcony/terrace. Breakfast was included in the rate, and I’m glad we took advantage of it – the spread was delicious and high quality. Nothing else to add.

We had an incredible experience at the hotel. The grounds were amazing, enveloping in beauty, with every detail steeped in history and meaning. The service was excellent. The food was very tasty. There were plenty of lovely touches, like premium tea and chocolate in the room. I never imagined Spain could offer this. It far exceeded my expectations.

The hotel’s location is great. The pool meets expectations, and for those who want the sea there’s a public beach within walking distance. The breakfast fell short of my expectations, but the lunch at the poolside restaurant and the dinner at the main restaurant were of very high quality. We also tried the Candlelight restaurant inside the hotel; despite the high price, it was worth the cost. The staff were smiling and incredibly attentive. From the bellboys and valets to the reception, especially Merina at the front desk (Spanish needed for reservations), they responded quickly to our evening restaurant bookings, room needs, and everything else. It’s a fantastic choice for anyone who wants to experience a Mediterranean vibe in this area. Breakfast could have offered more options. The hotel’s room reflected its retro style and looked old-fashioned; those who don’t like old furniture might not enjoy it. I’m not sure if it was because we stayed at the last minute, but compared to other hotels in Spain, the price was relatively high for the value.
