The owners and staff are super attentive and helpful, even giving a souvenir upon arrival and sharing tips about the island. Breakfast is exceptional. There’s a very beautiful garden and afternoon coffee cake. I can’t see anything to improve; it was truly a stay I’ll remember for life! Congratulations to the owners and staff.

The Pousada is in a very convenient spot, and you can walk to the city beaches in about 20 minutes, though you have to account for the uphill and downhill. The staff is very friendly (they don’t speak English, but that was not a problem at all), and the freshly prepared breakfast is very good. The garden is well tended and very pleasant. I wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful Pousada; we had a great time.

The lodge sits on a beautiful, heavily wooded plot, in a great spot that lets you walk to Vila dos Remédios and the beaches of Conceição, Meio, and Cachorro in just a few minutes. It’s also close to bus stops if you decide not to take a taxi or rent a buggy. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is wonderful with plenty of variety, and the staff is super attentive. You can see they do everything with care. We stayed seven nights there and would stay even longer. The tiles Edilene paints are a lovely touch, as are the cake, cookies, and always available coffee and tea.
