The place was really clean and the host super friendly. Breakfast was great! I stayed alone the first night, so the whole room was mine. It was quiet at night. The only downside was that it was far from Sapporo’s main station, but that’s on me for not checking beforehand. Otherwise, it takes 10 minutes to get to the Taine station, which then takes you straight to the airport.

建物は木造２階建て。古い建物の２階を客室に改修 窓は２重サッシ。４車線の道路に面しており大型車両の走行音が大きく響く。通路側と部屋の間に１０cm角ほどの穴が開いており、隣室からはいびきの音が入ってくる。天井からは動物の物音。最悪なのが1階でオーナーたちが夜遅くまで大騒ぎの宴会。宿泊施設とは思えません。

Breakfast was tasty, the smoking area was comfortable, and the nearby breakfast spot served great local fare. No complaints.

Thanks to Michi, the owner, for warm hospitality, high maintenance, cleanliness, and delicious breakfast. Finding an Airbnb or house‑hotel that accepts English in that part of Sapporo is hard, but Michi spoke English and even arranged a ride to JR Station when I left, making me feel special and welcomed. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I visit Sapporo.
