We were able to pick our room and chose the Rhine side; sleeping with the window open was fine, the location is great—five minutes to the old town—and the beds are very good with the overall condition impeccably clean; breakfast was very good and the staff friendly.

Everything was very clean, the rooms are very comfortable and well furnished, the breakfast is very generous, and the hotel is very central; the Cologne Cathedral, museums and the old town are nearby.

The staff were all very friendly, and the dog was super welcoming with a basket and food bowls in the room. The hotel sits in a nice central spot. I had booked a view, but the view turned out to be the parking garage, and there was no air‑conditioning even though it was supposed to be there. With the window open, traffic noise was loud, but I managed to sleep well on a fairly narrow bed.
