I booked a single night but stayed four, proving how much I enjoyed the place. The small, peaceful setting is among the best I've found in Sri Lanka, offering a relaxed and comfortable vibe that I truly appreciated. I sampled the Ayurveda massage and treatments, which were exactly what I needed to unwind. The food was fresh, tasty, and the staff were friendly, making me feel right at home. I’m glad I extended my stay and will definitely return. If you want a tranquil retreat in Sri Lanka, this is the spot.

The beach is beautiful, just 100 m away, and the breakfast includes fruit, omelettes, and cakes. However, the accommodation was dirty; the sheets and towels were stained, and the kitchen provided for breakfast prep was disgusting. The fridge was filthy, and I couldn’t find a place for the yogurts we bought, while mold was visible inside the microwave. This was our first guest house after arriving from Colombo, so I waited to see others before commenting. Honestly, it didn’t live up to the price.

Lakmal und seine Familie haben mich sehr herzlich empfangen. Aufgrund meines Fluges bin ich erst gegen Mitternacht in der Unterkunft angekommen. Auch ein Late Checkout war überhaupt kein Problem, super flexibel. Es hatte weniger den Vibe eines Hotels, sondern vielmehr das Gefühl, Teil einer Familie zu sein, die morgens und abends frisches und leckeres Essen zubereitet hat! Besonders vermissen werde ich die tollen Gespräche mit Lakmal an den Abenden. Ich werde ihnen definitiv noch einmal einen weiteren Besuch abstatten!
