“Be aware guys . This is a party hotel particularly the church suits”
We booked the Church Suites on a Sunday night expecting a quiet, upscale boutique experience, but the room cost over £330 and was filled with a noisy party that lasted until about 1:40 am, with a large group arriving and staying after a night out. No security or staff were present in the suites to manage the situation. I called the main hotel and was told no one was available, then emailed and messaged them about the noise, but nothing was done. In the morning I raised the issue—something I rarely do—and was told I had used the wrong number and no one took responsibility. Later I spoke to a manager who promised a follow‑up that never happened. The marketing claims exclusive suites, but that night it felt like a party hotel in Bowness, with people coming and going unchecked and the noise making sleep impossible. For the price, that was unacceptable.
